Head of Supply - Your Future Impact
As our Head of Supply, you will be a trusted thought partner, making an impact by supporting the organization with sound operational & financial decision-making. As a key part of our early team, you will lead in growing our company and directly influence the future of our platform and product roadmap. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will own both the short-term decision-making and long-term strategic planning of our operations and processes.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations and strategy professional with marketplace experience, merging their passion for operational excellence with building something new and great. You'll need vision to make a significant impact for buyers, sellers, partners, and clients, inspiring this vision across the team in partnership with the General Manager. Your love for main street over Wall Street, combined with an operational mind for daily execution, must be complemented by a creative approach in developing proprietary software.
What You'll Own
Strategic Planning and Development:
Lead revenue generation/ideation and development with new seller bases (Business brokers, small business sellers, and service providers).
Roadmap innovative provider relationship models to enhance supply acquisition and management strategies.
Direct ownership over all revenue stream roadmaps from fee-based programs, advertising, or commissionable revenue, as well as new lines of business yet to be developed.
Operational Excellence:
Direct and manage processes relating to strategic planning and product/marketplace roadmap development, including setting goals, service strategies, financial business plans, and operational plans.
Provide strategic leadership for both supply and demand side revenue strategies, identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities to maximize profitability, market share, and overall revenue growth.
Supply Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with current suppliers, enhancing engagement and retention.
Identify, onboard, and nurture new suppliers to increase the diversity and quality of listings on our platform.
Lead initiatives like partnerships, incentives, or educational programs to encourage sellers to list more frequently or exclusively with us.
Analytical Leadership:
Analyze and provide recommendations for growth opportunities using data from various quantitative and qualitative resources, including economic research, retail strategies, consumer demand studies, product feasibility studies, scenario modeling, industry intelligence, operational feasibility, and risk analyses.
Provide strategic context-setting across the organization regarding supply side revenue planning, marketplace functions, and more, translating company strategy to operational leaders.
The Experience You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in operations, strategy, or supply chain management, ideally within a marketplace or B2B environment.
- Proven track record in growing supply networks, managing supplier relationships, and strategic planning in a dynamic market.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms while fostering long-term partnerships.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities, with experience in analyzing performance metrics to inform strategy.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and vision-setting skills to manage both internal teams and external stakeholders..

- You have direct experience in the M&A, business brokerage, or related finance sectors.
- You've successfully scaled supply and operations in a rapidly growing marketplace or during a company's expansion phase.
- You understand the nuances of digital marketplaces and can leverage technology to enhance both supply management and operational strategy.
