Why our work matters …
The “Silver Tsunami” is in full effect, with Baby Boomers retiring and their businesses needing a succession plan.
Their businesses have been run for decades, many at a healthy profit, but alas, they have been overlooked by institutional investors.
And since many Millennials are focused on becoming YouTube stars and not wanting to own their parent’s landscaping company (even if it’s making millions) these Boomers are forced to either close or sell their business.
Therein lies our opportunity.
We call them “Boring Businesses”. They are your local laundromats, car washes, pool cleaning routes, handyman services, etc.–the unsexy blue-collar businesses that no one thinks about but everyone needs. And boy are they profitable.

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and adaptable Videographer & Content Creator to join our team and take charge of filming Codie Sanchez’s content across YouTube, Instagram, and her Podcast. This role is not just about operating a camera—it’s about capturing compelling moments, telling great stories, and ensuring top-tier video and audio quality across multiple platforms.
If you thrive in a creator-driven environment, love being behind the camera, and can handle both structured shoots and spontaneous content capture, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Frequent Filming: Capture high-quality video content across all platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Podcast) with frequent shoots.
- Podcast Production: Fully manage the audio and video setup for podcast recordings, ensuring crisp sound and professional visuals.
- Real-Time Content Capture: Adapt quickly to spontaneous moments, capturing dynamic, unscripted content that enhances storytelling.
- B-Roll & Storytelling: Stay alert for unexpected opportunities that elevate the story, even beyond planned shots.
- Equipment & Setup: Handle all aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
- Content Organization: Manage, tag, and properly store all footage to ensure a smooth handoff to editors.
- Efficiency & Innovation: Stay up to date on industry best practices, new filming techniques, and emerging trends to keep our content fresh and engaging.
What We’re Looking For
- A true content creator—you don’t just film; you think like a storyteller.
- A solution-based shooter—you thrive in following the story and can adjust in real time to capture compelling content without the need to block out shots in advance.
- Expertise in filming with a strong understanding of framing, lighting, and composition.
- Experience with social-first content—you understand how to capture attention in a fast-scrolling world.
- Strong knowledge of camera gear, especially Sony FX6 (or similar).
- Technical proficiency in video and audio equipment, including lighting setups, microphones, and recording tools.
- A quick thinker who can adjust seamlessly when plans change or when spontaneous moments create unexpected storytelling opportunities.
- Highly organized—you know how to keep footage properly stored and labeled for seamless editing.
- Experience working with creators or digital brands is a must—you understand the dynamic nature of content production.
- Understanding of the creator economy—you recognize how content moves, evolves, and performs across platforms and can use that knowledge to enhance production.
Bonus Points
- Experience in multi-platform content creation (YouTube, Instagram, Podcasts, etc.).
- Familiarity with editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve (even though you won’t be editing, you should understand post-production needs).
- Background in business/finance content is a plus but not required.
