Your future opportunity with us:
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our offshore team, working directly with our core platform development group. As a key member of our early team, you'll be a trusted thought partner in bridging the gap between business needs, technical solutions & engaging with users. You'll play a crucial role in shaping our platform's future by translating complex business requirements into clear technical specifications, engage with users to deeply understand their pain points, analyzing data points to derive data-driven metrics & most importantly - be the glue that hold them all.
What your day-to-day would look like:
- Analyze and document business requirements for our marketplace platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful initiatives
- Create detailed functional specifications for development teams
- Support the product roadmap development and backlog management
- Assist in user story creation and refinement
- Participate in daily standups and sprint planning with global teams
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Engage with users to understand their painpoints
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Support data analysis and reporting needs
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
What you'll bring to the table:
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis for software development projects
- Outstanding communication skills in English
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Proficiency in SQL and modern database query languages
- Hands-on experience with Analytical & AI tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong documentation and specification writing abilities
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Ability to work in CST time zone with US-based teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in marketplace platforms or financial technology
- Knowledge of business brokerage or M&A processes is an asset
- Experience with Project/Product management(JIRA, ProductBoard etc) and Documentation (Confluence, Notion).
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, Agile, etc.) is an asset
